Site Purpose

The purpose of the Moodle platform developed under the All Children Reading - Philippines (ACR-Philippines) project and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is to provide students and teachers in the Philippines easy, and offline access to literacy resources for self-study at home. The program is implemented by RTI in partnership with the Philippines Department of Education.

The ACR–Philippines project eResources initiative started in 2020, with the aim to support early literacy learning in mother tongues (MT) across the Philippines. Since then, the project has supported DepEd staff to develop over 250 eResources (ebooks and interactive primers) and has supported the Government in the development of TV episodes for distance education. Other projects and initiatives in the country, including the USAID/ABC+ project also implemented by RTI International, and UNICEF have also developed additional digital resources for students.

Security Notice

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, RTI uses software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.

The content of the platform is only as valuable as what members are uploading. Registered users must only upload content they do have permission to share, including for reports, data, images, or
other resources. By posting content, users grant RTI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, broadcast and reproduce such content without limitation in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for any purpose.

Comments uploaded to the discussion forum or announcement sections of the platform (if enabled) are considered the opinion of individual contributors and do not reflect the views of USAID, the United States Government, or the Government of the Philippines.

RTI site administrators will not curate the content uploaded but can provide support in removing content, should it be necessary, by request of the Government of the Philippines or RTI program leadership.
