A better understanding of the different risks and causes of such illnesses will aid in the proposal of interventions to prevent these disease conditions from happening and progressing.

Modules on data collection, analysis, reporting, dissemination and utilization are included in Part 4, and more importantly, how these data and information will assist in appropriate and adequate decision making for the school, the community and other stakeholders. Planning, implementation and evaluation of proposals and interventions will likewise enable the participants to use their previously acquired learning.
